Little Treasure

Jesus places the treasure of his love in your heart.
Malulabelle hopped on the tire swing. It hung from her favorite giant tree on the hill. She swung high, swayed back down, and up high again on the other side. “Weeee!” The motion felt slow against her face, and fast in her belly.
“Hello, little birds!” Malulabelle called out to all the friends she saw in the tree. “Hello, little squirrel!” She thought about how much they loved the giant tree too. Her heart filled with joy. She shared her thoughts with Jesus.
“Jesus, thank you for this giant tree. It is like a treasure to us.” Malulabelle imagined Jesus burying a hidden treasure just for her under the tree. She giggled.
Malulabelle paused from swinging. She looked up at the tree’s stretching branches. She liked sharing this treasure tree with her nature friends. This gave her a new thought. She prayed to Jesus again.
“Jesus, you didn’t bury a treasure to hide it from me. You placed it deep in my heart, so that it never goes away. I will always find you there. Thank you, Jesus.”
A friendship with Jesus is like finding a treasure in your heart. Don’t keep it hidden! Share a little piece of Jesus with everyone you meet.
