Loving God puts your heart in motion.
Malulabelle placed a row of dominoes on the empty tabletop. Her eyes scanned a path for the long train she wanted to build. One by one, the dominoes became straight lines, curves, and zig-zags.
Malulabelle’s heart felt as smooth and sweeping as the loopy lines she formed. She couldn’t decide which was more fun - setting up the swoopy patterns or tapping the first domino to set the tumbling in motion. She shared her heart with Jesus.
“Jesus, are there dominoes in Heaven?” She giggled. She imagined Jesus building the longest domino train across the clouds. She giggled again. “I love dominoes. And I love you too, Jesus.”
Malulabelle placed her last domino on the table. She took a step back. She visualized the falling tiles. This gave her a new thought. She shared her heart with Jesus again.
“Jesus, building this domino train is like building a friendship with you. You put my heart in motion, like falling dominoes. Thank you, Jesus.”
It’s true! God’s love creates a domino effect. When our hearts are filled with his love and peace, these spill out into every part of our lives. Where did you see God in your day today? How did you share his love with someone today?
