Little Bouquet

Jesus plants a garden in your heart.
Malulabelle skipped into the wildflower garden. Her fingers swirled and swished atop the bright pops of petals.
“Let’s see... One red. One violet. One white…” She picked the perfect pieces for a little bouquet. “This one is pretty, but, wait, it’s a weed!” Malulabelle giggled about almost adding a weed to her beautiful bouquet.
She strolled along, admiring each flower up close. Her heart felt as colorful as the pretty blooms. She wanted to share her thoughts with Jesus.
“Jesus, this garden makes me happy. It holds a special place in my heart. Maybe you’ve planted a garden in my heart too!” She giggled again.
Malulabelle found more little weeds mixed with the wildflowers. Some had pretty petals. But they didn’t belong in her bouquet. This gave her a new thought. She shared her heart with Jesus again.
“Jesus, if there is a garden in my heart, help me to see if there are also weeds. So that I know to only water what brings beauty into the world. Thank you, Jesus!”
