Share like Jesus.
Malulabelle raced into the field of wildflowers. The sun smiled in the sky. A warm breeze whooshed across her cheeks. She skipped through goldenrods, coneflowers, and butterfly milkweed. The flowers were a blanket of vibrant color.
She shared her heart with Jesus. ‘Jesus, this field is like an upside-down rainbow!’ She imagined Jesus hopping and running through the waving flowers with her. She giggled.
Malulabelle opened her eyes and noticed a little girl at the edge of the field. The girl tip-toed into the flowers but paused.
“Do you want to play? Come run with me!” Maluabelle invited her in.
The girls leaped and laughed. They fluttered and flew like butterflies. They jumped in joy like grasshoppers. Malulabelle’s heart felt as breezy and beautiful as the field.
‘Jesus, this field is my favorite place. Thank you for my new friend. It’s fun to share it with someone.’
Two small white butterflies flittered up and around the girls. It was as if the butterflies were new friends too. The girls giggled again. This gave Malulabelle a new thought.
“Will you pray with me? asked Malulabelle.
“Yes!”
“Jesus, this field is like a playground filled with your love, and it’s more fun when it’s shared with friends. You plant wildflowers in our hearts so that we can invite others in to play. Thank you, Jesus.”
Jesus wants everyone to join him in the field. Is there someone you know standing on the edge? Invite them in! Share His generous light and love with everyone you meet.
